We’re happy to share some good news about the ways that we’ve been growing, learning, and deepening our commitment to our values of integrity, community, equity, and collaboration.
We’ve been busy at Be Intentive getting certified and trained as part of the first Connecticut cohort of AIR Collaborative Certified Facilitators. The Connecticut Office of the Arts (COA) is a newly minted State Affiliate of the Air Collaborative. Through their training program, individuals from the state serve as facilitators to advance creative community solutions.
CT facilitators work as a cohort guided by COA to facilitate workshops across the state. These workshops are community-driven and focus on helping cities, towns and communities, build their local creative economy using the AIR Collaborative strategies to achieve their goals. Projects can include a broad range of areas including artist and business creative partnerships, economic development, emergency management and disaster preparedness, and education.
We look forward to connecting with communities around Connecticut in new ways with more tools to help them be intentive.
