We’ve been certified!
We're happy to share some good news about the ways that we've been growing, learning, and deepening our commitment to our values of integrity, community, equity, and collaboration. We've been busy at Be Intentive getting certified and trained as part of the first Connecticut cohort of AIR Collaborative Certified Facilitators. The Connecticut Office of the Arts (COA) is a newly minted State Affiliate of the Air Collaborative. Through their training program, individuals from the state serve as facilitators to advance creative community solutions. Taking a step back to reflect, listen, gain more experience through practice, and sharing knowledge has been crucial to my leadership journey. The leaders I have learned [...]

What is the place of leadership and how does it align with serving the needs of organizations, groups, and individuals? Service and leadership are no longer being seen as separate qualities that define good leaders. In fact, the connection between intent and impact is grows more important. How do you tap into the knowledge [...]
Another blog with intention
Welcome to the Be Intentive blog. Be Intentive began as conversation that grew out of mentorship sessions, workshops, and conferences that I attended in 2014 and 2015. I spent a lot of time thinking and learning on the ways that intent and what we pay attention to shape the outcomes and impacts of the way we work. Where do intent and attention come together? How could be intentive about what we do? How we act? What, how, and why we create? Since then, there have been big shifts in the way society looks at arts, culture, and education. [...]
